Brainiac Radio Planning Committee

While down Texas ways, the brain gang had some talks...

The notion was floated of having a radio broadcast hour or so hosted by the forum. The shape and form of this hour, or any amount of hours, is something still up in the air, what with all the guidelines, but it would be by members of the plaza and cast out on real, listenable radio waves. A radio show. That's what this thread is for, planning discussion information resources shit-shots anything related. Hopefully something isnt too hard to pull off!

This is some preliminary research by Civic:

CivWrecker wrote: Thu Aug 11, 2022 4:56 am I think there are also standards for encryption of HAM radio broadcasts and clients/receiver software that are attendant to that, but you might not be able to do realtime broadcast in that case and it also kinda limits audience growth. IDK how it works

So I have some interesting information. My alma mater offers any alumni spots on the local college radio. I could totally have the programs put together ITT and play it over. We could come up with radio spots and little bits for the show, it'll play for 2.08 million in the metropolitan area.

What do you guys think?
